During Advent, we light candles one by one—counting the light as Christmas approaches.
But once the Christ candle is lit, what then?
In this Wayfaring Theology reflection, I explore a practice called “changing the light”—moving from outward, visible signs of faith to the inward light we carry with us.
Walking backward through the Advent candles—Love, Joy, Peace, and Hope—we reflect on how faith matures from something we see into something we live.
This is not an argument or a lesson, but a quiet walk through the season of Christmastide—trusting that there is still “yet more light” to discover, even when the flame is no longer visible.
