15 he who fashionsX the hearts of them all,Y
and observesZ allAA their deeds.BB
16 A kingCC is not savedDD by his greatEE army;FF
a warriorGG is not deliveredHH by his great strength.II
17 The war horseJJ is a vain hopeKK for victory,LL
and by its great mightMM it cannot save.NN
18 TrulyOO the eyePP of the Lord is on those who fearQQ him,
on those who hopeRR in his steadfast love,SS
19 to deliver their soulTT from death,UU
and to keep them aliveVV in famine.WW
20 Our soul waitsXX for the Lord;
he is our helpYY and shield.ZZ
21 Our heart is gladAAA in him,
